The Ramadan

It is in the month of Ramadân when one makes lower(go down) the Koran, as driven(guided) for people, and in proofs of driven(guided) and of difference. So, whoever of you is present in this month, that it(he) him(it,her) fasts! " (Sura 2:185a) " God wants for you the ease, He does not want for you the difficulty "

( Sura 2:185b)

You observe the fast? You try(feel) the need of it? If you attach importance to God's commands, then to fast has of the importance for you. Nevertheless, mostly, men and women who go without food, without water and without toxic matter do not fast according to God's will. In our world one understands badly the sense(direction) of the fast.

Fast in the Koran and the Hadith

The Koran imposes very clearly the fast of the Ramadan. A fifth of the population of the globe is called to refrain from food during the hours of day. It is one month when one commemorates the revelation of the Koran and it(he) should come along with prayers and with reading of the Koran. One exercises there also the indulgence and the flexibility to the patients and the travelers. God's intention is there révèlée: " God wants for you the ease, He does not want for you the difficulty... " (Sura 2:185b).

The fast, today

So, let us admit that Chrétien as the Moslems of the whole world failed in their practice of the fast. For example, it is known well that during the Ramadan the Moslems consume more food than in quite other period of the year. In more one knows that during this month the Moslems live many social tensions which end in angers and in quarrels.

Generally the Christian world is not better; the practice of the fast is crossed(spent) by the secret act in the act about inexistent, even if someone fast still during the fast. If we look for a fast which pleases God, then we do not accuse any the others. Most of the excesses in the Christian and Moslem worlds come from the black hole of the materialism which inhaled(sucked up) all the planet.

But what imports me or what imports you if the Moslems and Chrétien do not fast correctly? It is necessary to think that God's laws correspond exactly to the practices of people which surround us? No, we should look for the fast which pleases God, the one that taught us all the seers, since Adam, by way of Abraham and his(her) true children (Galates 3:29)!

1000 years before the Hegira

God always had his seers to call back(remind) his people the repentance. It was the case with the seer Esaïe, the descendant of Abraham that lived and augured before the arrival of the Christianity and the Islam, in a time when the people of God had forgotten what meant the fast according to Its will. He declares:

"Here we are, you fast to discuss and scold you... Is it there the fast in which I take pleasure, one day when the man humbles his soul? To bend the head as the rush, and to go to bed on the bag and the ash, is it there what you call a fast, a day pleasant to the Eternal? Here is the fast to which I take pleasure: Remove(untie) the chains(channels) of the wickedness, undoes the links of the servitude, sends back(dismisses) free the oppressed, and that one breaks any sort of yoke; share your bread with the one that is hungry, and admits to your house the unfortunates without asylum; if you see a bare man cover him(it), and does not divert(hijack) you from your fellow man. Then your light will appear as the dawn, and your cure will germinate quickly; your justice will walk(work) in front of you, and the glory of the Eternal will accompany you. " (Esaïe 58:4-8).

About 600 years before Mahomet, Jesus, son(thread) of Marie, declared:

"When you fast, do not take a sad air(sight), as the hypocrites, which make the quite undone face, to show to the men(people) that they fast. I say it to you really, they have their reward. But when you fast, perfumes your head and washes your face, not to show to the men(people) that you fast, but to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father, who sees in the secret, will return him(it) to you. " (Matthieu 6:16-18).

If like it the seers

If the seers speak, we should listen them, even if we live hundreds of years aprés their ministry. The educations of Jesus in the material(subject) deserve our respect. He said that after The departure, those that follow him(it) would practise the fast. It is exactly what happened. The companions of Jesus and his followers practised dedicatedly a secret fast, normally twice a week, even if a lot(many), in the incredulity, refused to make(do) him(it). There were also moments when the believers fasted together, usually in times of crisis, or for particular subjects. It was not a fast prescribed annually. There was an immediate objective. Those that fasted distributed the money(silver) which they would have spent on being nourishing in the needy, religious or godless, without asking for anything in exchange. It was a part of their love for God, not a means to gain(win) the Paradise. They wished to live according to the Spirit of God not on the stomach.

Their fast was printed by condolence. Nobody was obliged to fast either in private, or in public, because it is what make(do) the hypocrites of the religion. If the company(society) forces to fast us, then she(it) steals us the enjoyment to obey God by love.

It is a little the same thing(matter) for us today, if we try to follow the seers. Let us let see to only God that we fast; the fast should be an instrument to control our appetite not to increase him(it)! It(he) should put an end to our sin, to give us the occasion to give to eat to those that are hungry and that are in the need, to offer us the opportunity to pray and to intercede in front of God for those that are around us. It(he) should cleanse our souls to move closer us, in character, to seers of God. Our lives should change through the fast; and especially, to fast should have to help us in better know God, and not know of the facts and doctrines about God.

Wonder: To fast, is it for you a private or public exercise? If you do not make him(it) in private, then I regret, you have already received your reward, the approval of the company(society). If it(he) is secret, then your reward is in heavens, with God.

Wonder: Your fast is a part of a regular and daily process to have the victory on your sins and your appetites, to ask to God to improve your character and to move closer it to His? No, you will answer, a little shocked, nobody can be similar to God; God is a God. It's true. But God made(did) the man for his image. We are not as animal, incapable to understand(include) God. God has the desire to communicate friendly with the one that He created in His image.

And what the religion if our character does not improve to be similar to His? Only a package of rules(rulers)! Rules(rulers) invented by the men(people) because only God can show the road.

If you say, yes, I fast to build a relation with God, then all right. You made(did) the good step to understand(include) which is the fast pleasant to God, such as the signboard(banner) Jesus, son(thread) of Marie. And thanks to the secret, sacred fast, which belongs To him(her), through the life of Jesus Christ, we how learn to like and connaitre God. As all the seers testify of it.
